The main thing people overlook is adspend. This is the money you spend directly on Facebook and Google to acquire advertising space on their platform. Now the minimum you must be willing to spend to work with us is $1,500/month, but some of our clients spend upwards of $25k/month. It's pay-per-click, so the more you invest, the more people see your stuff, and the more money you make (typically a 50x - 100x return on investment)
As far as what we charge, there's no fixed retainer, so it entirely depends on how much work you can handle, but as a rule of thumb, we typically cost between $1k - $5k per slice of $100k revenue added, depending on the service and the volume.
No, our only way to make money is through our 3% commission on closed deals. There are no upfront fees, no monthly minimums. We just eat what we kill.
